With dogs lying on the ground, palm trees growing everywhere, sunbeams reflecting on the water while snorkeling, everything was so chill and mellow in the village of China. It has become the concept of Zao Dao’s latest work “Fishergirl and Little Sea Elf”.
The story is about the adventure of a cute and brave fisher girl Simu with a 21 years old senior dog. One day, she meets the little elf Shu who likes to hide his power and wit. They begin with a series of adventure.
In 2021, Zao Dao’s first long comic “Fishergirl and Little Sea Elf” is under developed, threezero is going to launch a new 1/6 project based off of this. “Fishergirl and Little Sea Elf” is under the product line of threezeroX which is the high-end product line from threezero in which “X” means “crossover.” For Zao Dao ‐ 1/6 Fishergirl and Little Sea Elf (Deluxe Edition), the 6” Fishergirl and Little Sea Elf figures, and also an old dog statue are included. In addition, a fishbone statue and an artbook also come with the set.
Background of Zao Dao
Zao Dao is a passionate Chinese female artist who was born in the 90s. She has created a lot of artworks which contain strong senses of calmness, peacefulness, braveness and dreamy feelings.
Her first artbook named “Song of Sylvan” was published in 2015. She brought us into her fantasy world with her unique style of ink painting. The elves and monsters in her paintings had left strong impression on readers around the world. Since then, threezero has started a series of 1/6 figure projects with Zao Dao, and the first one was Crow Teeth from “Song of Sylvan”. In 2018, threezero collaborated with Zao Dao again for the project “Little Bugs”.
